JESSICA'S PHILOSOPY
FOOD FIRST
Jessica believes in the power of food to provide energy and nutrients to make gains in a training regimen, enhance performance & recovery, and improve lifelong health. Jess prioritizes a well-balanced performance plate before recommending supplements or nutritional ergogenic aids.
EVIDENCE-BASED
As a Clinical Research Specialist at Mass. General (one of the country's top research centers), Jessica is well-versed in nutrition research methods and interpreting published research articles. She prides herself on using an evidence-based approach in her practice. While the sports nutrition field is constantly evolving, Jess uses the most current nutrition research combined with her clinical experience in her work with all athletes.
ATHLETE CENTERED
Jessica is dedicated to the health and success of you as an athlete. Do you want to achieve a really difficult goal? Maybe run a 100 mile race? Or make that team they said you couldn’t make? With Jess guiding you, you’ll learn how optimizing nutrition can give you the edge to be fearless in pursuit of your goals.
Beyond just learning about your eating patterns, training regimen, and body composition, Jess wants to know what makes you get out of bed? What drives you go that extra mile? How do you learn? How do you respond to adversity? What do you do when its time to summit your mountain?
When you work with Jess, she wants you to reach your goals as an athlete, but she also cares about both your physical and emotional well-being- for today, tomorrow, and the future. Get ready to prove the doubters wrong.
